Day 1: Fly Addis Ababa to Arba Minch
Mekelle to Addis arrival 10:10AM and Addis to Arba Minch 1:30 PM so based on this information it’s possible to connect between destinations.
Moring fly to Addis and connect your flight to Arbam Mich. depending on the time of your arrival drive to Dorze village to visit the way life of the people and then retrace back to Arba Minch overnight at Hotel
Day 2: Drive Turmi (7hrs drive)
Morning drives to Turmi on the way visit the Konso village which is known for terracing and intensive agriculture. They live in walled villages with what called Mora and generation pole in the center of the village and then continue on drive to Arbore village to visit the Arbore tribe. Enjoy their way of life take a picture and the drive to Turmi. Overnight at lodge
Day 3: full day excursion to Karo and Nyangatom
Morning after breakfast drive to Karo people, The Karo grow sorghum, maize and beans. Karo use to paint body and decorate their face. They use white (chalk), black (charcoal), yellow, ochre, and red earth... Karo women scarify their chests to beautify themselves. The scarification of a man's chest shows that he has killed an enemy or a dangerous animal. The scars are done with a knife or razor blade and ash is rubbed in to. Visit the village and then proceed to Nyagatom village called Kangate. Nyagatom is one of biggest tribe in the south Omo valley and these people live in three countries Kenya, Ethiopia and South Sudan. In this village you will visit and learn about three tribes’ way of life. These are Nyagatom, Murule and Topaz. Some of the tribe comes from South Sudan as refuges but Nyagatom peoples considered them as family. After visit retrace to Turmi overnight Lodge
Day 4: Turmi to Dassanech and then to Jinka
Morning Excursion to Omorate Dassanech tribe, arrive there and take canoe local boat curved from light wood to cross Omo river or drive on the river by newly built bridge, visit the nomadic village of Dassanech tribe and Drive back to Turmi
Afternoon drive to Jinka on the way visit the Bana tribe and then Jinka overnight at Jinka Resort or Eco Omo Lodge
Day 5 Morning excursion to Mursi and fly back to Addis Ababa
Early in the morning excursion to Mursi tribe founded in Mago National Park visit the Mursi tribe who’s Known for lip plate and stick fighting then drive back to Jinka for lunch and then drive to airport to fly back to Addis Ababa and depending on your flight schedule you will have a farewell dinner at Ethiopian traditional restaurant with traditional music and then transfer to the airport and fly to home.
